About

About

Why is this place the way it is? Reason of Place explains real places with measured data in 3D: terrain, water, satellite imagery and official records. When it fits, we simulate the “what if” on the real terrain and check it against what actually happened.

Reason of Place is an independent publisher of documentaries on YouTube. Each film answers one question about one real place, and each film has a page here with the evidence behind it.
